The
39th Annual |
Each year Wanbli Ota hosts a
benefit Halloween Carnival and Pow-wow. This year we had a awesome turnout
for both of these events. A very special thank you to all of the clubs who
had booths at the carnival and to Allyn Talg of Fort Lewis College Career
Services for her wonderful support with her palm reading booth.
A big shout out to all of the people who made out Powwow a success!! Our Head Man Dancer, Chad Avery, Head Woman, Leann Wilson, Our M.C. Frank Carson and our Head Drum All Around Boyz! Also, a special thanks to Yellowjacket for sharing their singing with us!!!
The 2000 Halloween Benefit Pow-wow was held on October 28 in the CUB Ballroom. Thanks to everyone for coming, but especially to our Head Man Dancer, Paul Daw, our Head Lady Dancer, Twyla Sepsey, to our drums -- Buffalo Horn, Burning Ceder, and Yellowjacket with members of the All Around Boyz-- and to our really great Emcee, Frank Carson!!! It was fun for everyone and a really great event.
